YIN TEACHER TRAINING

Every Fall we will host 100 hours of Yin Teacher Training from September - October. Schedule is typically Saturdays 11am - 6pm and Sundays 10am-5pm.

Instructors will include Sarasvati Hewitt and many amazing guest teachers!

They will lead sections on gender and language, yoga sutras, DEI, social justice, neurobiology of sleep, anatomy and others.

“10/10 would recommend Sarasvati's Yin Yoga training. Sarasvati is very passionate about the art of yin yoga. This is not something I have experienced in yin classes taught by other people. When I first heard of yin I thought it was some sort of restorative yoga, and wrote it off. When I found Seeking Space and later the Yin Yoga space, I learned that Yin is entire art form that has roots in Kung Fu. Because Sarasvati was so informative in her classes, and clearly had a passion for it, I decided to take her Yin Teacher training.

I had taken two, 200 hour trainings in the past, and left both of them feeling totally overwhelmed. Over the 10 weeks or so that I was in Sarasvati's training I felt inspired. The training had a deep anatomy focus, and it also blended elements of Yoga theory, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I met wonderful people in the training, and made friends along the way. I now teach Yin regularly! I love the practice and am so happy it came into my life. I am also very happy that I took the training from someone as passionate as Sarasvati. "
